For the past year, people have been going missing in the Valley—a mysterious scar on Katta Island that had been there for as long as anyone has lived there. As the last group of Hunters venture down, Yvanna—a talented Tracker and priest of the sun god Nkam—says goodbye to her parents who are part of the expedition.

Three days. That’s how long they wait before sending in the very last group of Trackers. Along with her sister Peggy and the Valley Beast Scholar Elena, Yvanna descends into the Valley to catch their trail.

As the three women make their way through the Valley, dealing with the Beasts that haunt the scar on the land, something begins to feel… off, and something bigger than they realize starts to take over their mission.
